Just got HOW COOL IS COOL in the mail today, have'nt played it yet. Never have heard one minute of their music. Saw it in a catalog and thought it would be really cool. Hope I like it. I can't believe they have websites. This site is very cool. Any U.S. Peddlers fans? Will check back in a couple days for responses. Ciao! |

Recent Peddlers convert. I was buying a Blood Sweat and Tears CD in a Glasgow record shop and some music was playing that on first impression sounded of a similar nature. The guy happened to be talking about it to another customer and was saying "it sounds a bit like Blood Sweat and Tears" just as I handed him the CD. He of course at the sight of it prompted me for an opinion. I said I'd never heard of them but they're right up my street. Unfortunately I was a bit skint and decided to hold off buying till later. Over the next few months I was working offshore and never got the chance to go back. By this time however my memory had played a nasty trick on me and I spent a fair few weeks searching in vain for a band called "The Pebbles". In the end I had to go into deep hypnotic regression to discover that they were called the Peddlers and that I was indeed a Sea Cucumber in a previous life. I've picked up How Cool Is Cool and associated vinyl. Also ordered Live at Pickwick/Three In a Cell from HMV online who took exactly 6 months to tell me it was no longer available. Alas I have got no further apart from Fantastic Peddlers LP. Got to get Suite London and the rest of their albums. They're simply an awesome band. I can't stop listening to them. I'm doing my bit for Peddlers conservation by carrying my CD around with me and waiting for the right moment to "peddle" it among my friends. Having some success too! Will visit you enlightened folks again soon. Regards Jim |
