The dream continues..............

To promote this dream, The Peddlers quickly reform. News of this spreads through the media like wildfire. They are invited to play The Birmingham Indoor Arena not far from where I live. The show is a sell-out. Roy announces that the new double CD will be called 'Especially For Peter', recognising the excellent choice of tracks. They appear on Top Of The Pops doing the single from the new album. It is Tell The World We're Not In which they did on the same show in 1971. To the delight of the 60's generation it becomes the Christmas number one for 2005. It remains there for six weeks only to be replaced at number one by Let Me Be Turned To Stone, the second single from the CD. The Peddlers disappear from the scene to tour America with the new album.

George W. Bush meets them from the plane and takes them to The White House where they do a gig in the presence of major national celebrities. After that they do a six month tour of 72 major venues being supported by artists such as Neil Diamond, Meatloaf and Barbra Streisand.

..............Then the alarm woke me up to go to work. What a dream!

... his dream, The Peddlers quickly reform, etc etc but of course, even in his dream that can never be because Roy and the boys, once reformed and knocking them dead with every release never actually make it to Birmingham, let alone America, because they take up permanent residence in Melbourne Australia and play nightly at "The BriMax Theatre", ... which just happens to be the purpose-built extension on the back of my house!!

Merry Christmas to you all, ... and keep on Peddlin' !! B.

If there was any justice, all that would really happen, Peter! Except the part about the CD dedicated to you!
