Amazing, really brought back memories! New Zealand seem to have some old Peddlers' footage?

Nice One Hans - how did you pick that up!!! You really must be able to search out all the good things on the W W W....

Great to see the 'Main Man' alive & kicking, and to hear those Kiwi's really appreciate Roys wonderful pedigree and success.

It is also nice to post a reply message before Del.....

I have often wondered if there is any other TV highlights of anything Peddlers out there - I know Del has tried to find some, without any luck. Has anyone have some that they can share???

Also, I have been trying to find some old fashioned pictures of the boys in action. My memories of seeing them perform live(I was lucky to seen them 4, if not 5 times) was as on the sleeve of Birthday. If anyone out there has some pics to share, I'd be interested to hear further.

Greeting from Wales - I hope we can beet the Kiwi 'All Blacks' in Rugby this coming week-end.

Yes, Hans very kindly sent me this clip a few days ago. It just shows that there is some footage in the can, in NZ anyway !

Great to see Roy looking so happy and obviously wowing audiences wherever he plays. Only wish NZ was a bit nearer so that we could get to see and meet him.

Thanks Hans for the detective work !

Best wishes to all Pedds fans everywhere.

Keep the Faith

Del

Thanks Hans for the link to NZ tv ,enjoyed the interview. I was lucky enough to see the Peddlers live in the late sixties early seventies 3 or 4 times in the NE of England nite clubs and rated them highly.Had there LPS which dissapeared somewhere years ago so i purchased How Cool is Cool CD and loved them all over again . I mentioned to an old friend about the site and he cassually mentioned that he had "borrowed " my LPS about 20 years ago but luckily still had them.I was in Queenstown about 8 years ago and didnt know he lived there i could have been near him.Wouldnt it be amazing if he toured Europe again

Nowadays I'm an avid jazz fan, but it all started in the 70-ies with the first album I bought of the Peddlers. After the first, I bought as much as I could and was searching every record shop to get more, only to find out I had already all LP's available. In my former radio jazz program (local station in the Netherlands) I used to play a few songs to let the listners know what talent there was around in those times. I know they performed for the Dutch television too, but  no footage seems available. That's why I'm so happy to see one of Roy Philips. Hans, many thanks!!  And a new cd too...... As soon as I am back in the netherlands, I'll order it!!

There is only one thing I regret very much.........I've never seen them alive!! That must have been a happening for all of them who did!!

Keep me informed.
