Great New Roy Phillips album, "Standard Procedure 1"

A set of songs given the classic Peddlers treatment includes "Summertime", "Got My Mojo Working", "Let It Be" and a live version of "My Way" recorded in 1974 by the Peddlers in Amsterdam.

A true proffessional at work and cannot wait to witness a live' performance. Roy has mastered the Kurzweil keyboard and makes it look very easy, which it isn't. Theres not many entertainers that could perform a one man show and keep the audience spellbound like Roy. Definately improving with age! Come on, lets get this forum buzzing, we all owe it to the Peddlers! Keep the faith Del

There is no substitute for the real thing but on my Yamaha I can get pretty good sounds like the B3. I also have an Emu B3 sound module which uses samples from a real B3. The Kurzweil is used by most pro's so should be good for most applications. The sampled sounds on it are supposed to be very accurate. Never actually tried one myself though. Del

Does Roy get a Hammond sound from it, I'm worried that he uses it as striaght keyboard, I really wish he would stick to real Hammond & Piano, I know it's not convenient weight wise but as you rightly say, there is no substitute.
