Great New Roy Phillips album, "Standard Procedure 1"
A set of songs given the classic Peddlers treatment includes "Summertime", "Got My Mojo Working", "Let It Be" and a live version of "My Way" recorded in 1974 by the Peddlers in Amsterdam.

I think that "In The Still Of The Night" demonstrates what an amazingly tight band the Pedds were and tracks like "Girl Talk" "The Prime of My Life" and many others show what a versatile band they were. I have compiled a cd disc for the car and here are some of the tracks that are my faves :- Son Love For Sale Working Again Tell The World Were Not In Love Story Girl Talk Smile Empty Club Blues On A Clear Day People In The Still Of The Night Ebb Tide Lost Continent Prime Of My Life Southern Woman Girlie City Living Birth Pick a favorite out of these? Each one can be a favorite on any particular day and there cannot be that many bands that have produced so many quality tracks as these selected here. They weren't just good they were awesome! Del |

Girlie Last Train to Clarksville Southern Woman (the original version) In the still of the night God, as Del says, the list is endless! So much variety and so many to choose from. We Pedds fans are just so lucky to know and appreciate their music. In fact I was at our Pub the other weekend and had a local trio playing 'Pedds' style music. I run them off a representative CD of their music, and now there are 3 more Pedds fans!! As Del says, keep the faith and spread the word!! |
