Great New Roy Phillips album, "Standard Procedure 1"

A set of songs given the classic Peddlers treatment includes "Summertime", "Got My Mojo Working", "Let It Be" and a live version of "My Way" recorded in 1974 by the Peddlers in Amsterdam.

I well remember The Peddlers in the late 60s, a girlfriend introduced them to me along with Brut (which was then very expensive) They are probably the most exciting and entertaining trio ever and listening to them now they seem so fresh. I lived in Torquay at the time and there was then a very good night life - I travelled round night clubs/hotels taking photos of people for a living and the Peddlers were very reminiscent of the type of live cabaret act you'd get those days. Very very classey. I just love that Hammond sound, especially those bassy jazzy chords- you can't beat it.
