This is the story I found on the internet.
The Peddlers were a UK jazz-flavoured R & B trio formed in the early sixties by ex-Tornados members, keyboard player/vocalist Roy Phillips and bassist Tab Martin, together with ex-Rory Storm and the Hurricanes drummer Trevor Morais. They came from Manchester and were originally known as The Song Peddlers, later shortened to The Peddlers in time for their first album, "Live at The Pickwick", which was released in 1967. The band had released quite a few singles for Philips Records before releasing their debut album, thus building up a fairly large following. Roy Phillips' vocals, keyboard playing and charismatic stage presence was the stand-out factor in this talented trio. In their later years they veered more towards the cabaret circuit. When they finally disbanded in the early to mid seventies, Trevor Morais formed Quantum Jump with bassist John G.Perry and k eyboard player Rupert Hine.
