My father-in-law (well, practically!) used to be a 'roadie' with the peddlers back in the 70's. He's asked me to look for a copy of the "SuiteLondon" album for him on the internet, as he can't find a opy *ANYWHERE*. I've had no joy as of yet. I think he'd prefer an original copy on either tape, cd ar vinyl. Is it likely that I'll find a copy? If the album is ridiculously rare, I have a cd-rw drive and could compile a cd for him. He'd prefer a 'real' copy, but if that's not possible, a pointer in the direction of some mp3's or whatever would be greatly appreciated (I already have the track-listing). Alternatively, I could ask him what albums of theirs he has, and maybe a swap could be arranged? Maybe he could send you a cd-r copy of an album in return for a cd-r of "Suite London"? I doubt he'd want to swap one of his original copies, but there's no harm in asking. If you think you can help in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me at darrentateuk@hotmail.com, please use "SUITE LONDON" as the subject as I tend to delete a lot of messages quickly due to ever increasing spam! Thank you very much Darren :o) |
