Hi Mike,

Thanks for the info and I guess Roy is not listed as he is probably not classified as a rock keyboard player.

There are some good names there but in my opinion not in the right order by a long way.

Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson undoubtedly should be at the top along with Tony Banks, Billy Preston, Rod Argent, Joey Defrancesco, Rick Wright,Jan Hammer,Jimmy Smith,Harry Stoneham and in my opinion, classed as a rock keyboardist or not Roy Phillips should be right up there in the first five.

Having listened to Roy's playing since the 60's and being a struggling keyboard player myself I can appreciate what a superb musician he is and a better master of the Hammond organ would be very hard to find.

I am only glad that I have grown up in the era of the Peddlers through the 60's and feel fortunate to have had this fantastic music to listen to.

Regards

Derek

Blue Weaver is also notably absent from their list.

Reading my reply to Mike I see I have missed one important great B3 player from the list. It is indeed "Jon Lord" from "Deep Purple"  Check out the album "Shades of Purple"
